General Criteria:  

• Any nationality 

• Aged from 16 ~ 30 years old.  Contestants younger than 18 must obtain parental consent. 

• Marital status:  Single 

• Must come for Preliminary photoshoot on either 5th or 6th August 2023. 

• Judges will select the winners for Miss Yosakoi 2023, Miss Kimono, Miss Sakura, Miss Photogenic and Miss Congeniality. 

• All Winners will be announced at the Crowning Ceremony on August 26th at Gurney Plaza. The judges' decision is final. 

• The winner of Miss Yosakoi title must attend photoshoot sessions for marketing campaign for Penang Yosakoi Parade 2023.

• Winners of all awards must agree to have their photo used for publicity and marketing purpose for online, advertising or printed materials by the organisers. 

• All title winners are requested to attend the Penang Yosakoi Parade on Saturday September 16th 2023 and act in whatever capacity required. Eg. Greet the VIPs and Chief Minister, photoshoots etc

• Where possible, you will be asked to attend any Press Conference arranged for the event. 

• You may take home all prizes given to you EXCEPT the Kimonos & Robe, Kanzashi Crown and Winner’s Sash.
